Tulsa Railroaders Wool Hat

The Tulsa Railroaders played in the Western Association during the 1911 season. They finished with a record of 20-25. While the team didn’t have much success on the scoreboard the Tulsa Daily World tried to keep the fans spirits high, writing, “The fact that Tulsa has a team which plays comparatively clean ball is something for consolation.” The Railroaders were managed by Bert Shaner. They played their games at South Main Park which was near the current Veterans Park.
